Bodegons

Els bodegons sovint adornen l'interior de les tombes de l'Antic Egipte. Es creia que els objectes relacionats amb el menjar i altres articles representats allí, es farien reals en l'altra vida i disponibles perquè els morts els usaren. Les pintures sobre gerres de l'Antiga Grècia també demostren gran habilitat al representar objectes quotidians i animals. Bodegons semblants, més simples decorativament, però amb perspectiva realista, s'han trobat igualment en pintures murals de l'Antiga Roma i en mosaics del sòl a Pompeia, Herculano i la Vil·la Boscoreale, incloent el motiu posteriorment tan familiar d'un bol de cristall amb fruites. Ací tenim a un dels nostres alumnes, Juan luis, amb dos dels seus bodegons, un a carbó compost i l'altre a óleo.

Las pinturas sobre jarras de la Antigua grecia también demuestran gran habilidad al representar objetos cotidianos y animales. Bodegones parecidos, más simples decorativamente, pero con perspectiva realista, se han encontrado igualmente en pinturas murales de la Antigua Roma y en mosaicos del suelo en Pompeya, Herculano y la Villa Boscoreale, incluyendo el motivo posteriormente tan familiar de un bol de cristal con frutas. Still Lifes

The still lifes often adorn the interior of the tombs of Ancient Egypt.
